Notes Joseph R. Tucker, 1895 left London, England , Homestead on SE 22-16-23 near Shoal Lake. Moved to Kuroki, Sask. in 1911 and rented out his land to Ross Short. The lake that was on his property was originally called Ferrie's Lake, but known as Tucker Lake. Evidently Austin Glenn also homesteaded in this area because the two men became friends and when the roof blew off Tuckers house, he took refuge at his nearest neighbors - Austin Glenn, who also heloped hium rebuiild. Austin Glenn was grandfather to Clifford Glenn. Researched by Irene Gamey, April 24, 2022
