Notes This elevator was build by Walter Moore. (Mr. Moore owned & operated a general store in Patterson Building) The Elevator was run by horse power & then by an upright steam engine, later by a gasoline engine. There was a spur line ran down from the west switch, past the elevator for rail cars to be spotted at the elevator. In 1900 the N. Bawlf Grain Co. purchased the elevator. DaveMcCutcheon waas the buyer. In 1909 it was sold to Manitoba Elevator Commission and in 1912 it was again sold to the Grain Growers Grain Co. (UGG) In 1921 the elevatorwas taken down and the lumber moved to Dauphin. J.M. Black was in charge from 1912 to 1921. This picture was taken in 1916
