Object Desc Taken byJohn M. Morton (17 Field Battery, 15th Field Regt. R.C.A) from a German officer during WW2 prior to the battle at Falaise, France. The officer along with two soldiers were taken prisoner and were the last survivors of their battalion.

Notes This model was a prototype with very limited production. Only 2800 were manufactured between 1912 and 1913. The serial number of this weapon in 554 in a seqence of 1 - 2800. Because of it's profile this prototype model became known as the Humpback.
