Notes Was born one March 22, 1852 in Newhills, Aberdeenshire, Scotland and came to Canada with her parents at 5 years old, settling in Campbellford, Ontario. She married Francis Walter Cramer then moved to the USA in 1880. Elsie, Frank, and family moved to Strathclair, MB in April 1900 and after Frank's death in December 1900, they took up farming here. She passed away at Middle Seniors Home at age 86 and was buried in the Strathclair Bend Cemetary. Her funeral service was held at Strathclar United Church on November 3, 1989 and was conducted by G.A. Colpitts.
