Notes Byng Warrington of Pensacola, Florida, was one of the first men at Strathclair to join the Armed Forces for World War II and one of the very few who entered the Air Force. It is thought that he is the only one from Strathclair who recieved a Commission. Because of this, Byng is very pleased to have this oil painting of him in his uniform presented to the Museum. The painting of him was the artistry of his wife Marylou. Byng is very proud of the rings presented to him by the Town of Strathclair. Byng feels a part of him is at Strathclair as his son, Douglas, is buried in the cemetery here. It is my very great pleasure to present this picture to the Museum this year of 1984 as a momento of bygone years and happy thoughts of Strathclair, Byng's sister, Mrs. Blanche Brown of Dauphin.
