Notes WILLIAM SHEARDOWN ** William (Bill) Sheardown was born on February 17, 1872 in Bolton Ontario. He married Lily Levins in 1905 and they farmed in the McConnell district until 1912 when they and their three children, A1lie, Bill Jr., and Violet moved to Strathclair where they farmed on what is now the Andy Byskal farm. In 1941, they moved into Strathclair where they lived until they passed away, Bill in 1957 at the age of 85 years and Lily in 1967 at age 86 years. They had seven children: Eva who deceased as a baby. Allie, deceased in 1948, married Roy Elliott. They had three children, Waunetah deceased, Arnold and Jack. Bill married Jessie Waytovich and they lived in Dawson Creek, B.C. Their son, Alan and wife, Anita and family, Paula and Byron live in Whitehorse. Son Dale passed away in 1983, his wife Jeanette and family Todd, Craig, and Norelle live in Australia. Violet lives in Toronto, Ontario. Mildred deceased in 1929 at age 15 years. Tom lives in Edmonton and has a daughter, Pam married to Currie Lunstrom. They live in Ft. St. John, B.C. with their two children, Reagan and Kelsey. Florence married Curly Biccum in 1940 and they live in Strathclair, Manitoba. They have four children. Tom in Winnipeg. Jack and Daphne live in Calgary, Alberta with their two children, Chris and Cindy. Allie married Ellery Mowbray and they live in Shoal Lake. They have two children, Marcy and Cavel. Wendy married Garnet Workman and they live in Winnipeg.
